Mifflin County is developing a Safety Action Plan (SAP) to improve transportation safety throughout the County.  The plan will identify roadway safety concerns, analyze crash trends and develop data-driven strategies to reduce fatalities and serious injuries for all roadway users. In partnership with local municipalities and stakeholders, the plan will establish safety priorities, identify potential improvement projects, and position the County to pursue future transportation safety funding. Residents, businesses, and visitors are encouraged to participate by sharing safety concerns, identifying locations in need of improvement, and helping shape transportation priorities for the future through the project’s interactive map, online survey, and public engagement activities.
